In the past, when presidents tried to trim the number of government employees, the result was not lowering the cost of the government. This is because those jobs were often given to private contractors at higher rates.

Trump’s order to expand IVF access does not expand IVF access
Advocates say if he was serious about IVF there's more he could do to actually help.
On Tuesday, President Trump signed an executive order on in vitro fertilization. Despite the executive order’s claims that it’s “expanding access” to the procedure, it does not actually do that.
