Yes, it's the mid 1st century Roman fort in the NW corner of Hod Hill
It's interesting that Ian Richmond, when he dug the site in 1951-8, didn't find any roundhouses in the area of the Roman fort
Yet they're clearly there on the geophysical survey 🤔

#Roman legionary fortress has been detected near the renowned auxiliary fort at Valkenburg. Uncovering the remains of the fortress gateway was a key factor in proving the existence of a previously unsuspected #military site.

A ruined tomb of rubble covered by a large hangar
This huge Neolithic tomb survives today due to whiskey! 🥃
After excavation in the 1930s this hangar was built to protect it, paid for by local man Walter Grant, who owned the whiskey distillery in Kirkwall!
