Got to play with procreate for the first time today (I usually use CSP), so of course I had to sketch an Alayna

digital drawing in procreate. A grizzly bear sitting and holding a branch with blueberries. He looks happy. Around him are more blueberries plants and a few birch trees. Two crows are sitting on either side on a tree. One has a berry in its beak another one squints at the blueberry branch.

It’s a bear. Finding the right rendering style for the fur took me a while, but I‘m so happy how it turned out.

It’s one of the patreon stickers for this month and will also be a print later.

This is one of the most beautiful pieces of art ever and it acts as a litmus test for if you have joy in your soul or not.

"Teo's foliage shape cheat-sheet" showing a variety of the different plant shapes I use to convey foliage and plants and rocks and fungus and how I put them together. They're plants that dont really exist but thats okay because they LOOK like plants to your eye! There's some fungus on a tree trunk and a little gnomey me on the bottom explaining that all of these shapes are building blocks.

My gnomey sona sitting in a small scene under a tree, fishing with a little stick pole. The landscape around him is build from a lot of the shapes and foliage from the previous image, showing (very vaguely) one of the ways they can be combined. My sona is smiling and saying, "Then comes the *Fun* part!"

My sona now drawn kind of doodly again, walking back from his fishing trip. He looks much smaller now, and walks past a large rock in front of a tree trunk, with a few bugs, clovers, grasses and fungus around. There's an inchworm on a fungus up on the tree trunk, and a few beetles around. My sona looks a little guilty as he explains, "...Okay, maybe that makes it sound too...simple? It just takes some practice. But you can do that!"
