I am overall. There are a few things I don’t like, for example it struggles on sideways sloping pavements and I’ve skidded a few times there. Also the tires are hard plastic and not the grippiest.
But cost for function, it’s ok xx

Mine is a Quickie Q50 and it’s 16kg. It does fit in a car boot. Xx

Yesterday was my first day back at uni after 4yrs off sick.

I felt good after, but still took the evening off to rest up.

Everyone in class was lovely and the lecturers all gave me a hug, welcoming me back.

Partner sent me to bed early and made dinner. No PEM so far 🙌

Brain stuff was my worst set of symptoms. LDN really improved a lot of them for me. I’m very lucky, I know it doesn’t work for everyone. And tbh when I was severe I didn’t tolerate it at all. I’m not sure what changed. I feel like so much of this is down to luck and it’s so unfair.

Just had my check-in with my uni disability adviser.
Almost every disability service staff member will no longer be working in 2 weeks. The uni is undergoing a massive restructure and cutting staff because changes to (UK) immigration policy has greatly reduced the number 1/4

Hard to see except for those who would prey upon them: all that softness and quaking and blood. Those who want it cannot be satisfied. Eagle-eyed and such talons, any furred thing will do. So easy to rip out a heart when it is throbbing so hard. I wander out into the winter. I know what I am.
