Am currently struggling to understand our American cousins, their seemingly above the law presidency, their political judicial system and a seeming lack of empathy and understanding amongst those in power.

Every year I make a resolution to read about a part or era of the world that I don't know much about. Previous winners were the Silk Roads, medieval sub-Saharan Africa and the American Revolution. This year I have been challenged to learn more about the Tudors (Gulp!)
