We're losing our farmland at an unprecedented rate in Ontario.

Yesterday, Bobbi Ann Brady and I were in Halton Hills to talk to their city council about our bill to create a Foodbelt to protect our farmland.

Ontario's farmland is a precious resource that is vital to protect.

This #OntarioAgricultureWeek I'm feeling thankful for the land that feeds us and the farmers that steward it while growing our food.

Thank you to the organizers for putting together such a powerful event. I’m committed to continuing to call out and fight back against anti-Semitism and anti-Palestinian hate in our community.

It means a lot to me to be among so many community members calling for peace in the Middle East and an end to the occupation in Gaza.

Tonight, I attended an interfaith vigil hosted by @ijvcanada.bsky.social Guelph and Guelph Interfaith Justice mourning the lives lost on, before and after October 7.

It's hard to overstate just how far backwards the Ford government has taken us on climate.

The rest of the world is using the shift toward renewables to generate jobs and prosperity, meanwhile the Premier has no plan at all.

Sending my best wishes to the Jewish community for Yom Kippur.

Marked by fasting and repentance, the Day of Atonement offers an opportunity to look forward with hope to the year ahead. Yom Kippur reminds those of all faiths of the importance of self-reflection and renewal.

As a former farm kid, it's great to meet a young farmer keeping the family tradition alive.

I had the chance to chat with Austin from TruPure Farms about the challenges of getting started as a young regenerative farmer in Ontario.

And we will continue to fight against harmful legislation, like Bill 5, which undermines Indigenous rights and respectful nation-to-nation relationships.

Thank you to the team at the Woodland Cultural Centre for the hospitality and their work honouring and teaching Indigenous history.
