I realise that's a bunch of demands for someone volunteering to help lmao. It's a mix of being tired of it but being attached to the account & not wanting to change what the ~5k people signed up for.

To be clear, I'm not at all precious about the idea, just the account. Happy for anyone to spin off in any way they see fit, I don't own the idea and wouldn't impose my ideals on anyone else's bot, but I'd like for the account to remain mostly as-is.

And I'd want it to remain in the spirit of the account as it was, i.e. a dumb bot that follows dumb rules. You're welcome to mitigate spam or whatever, but I don't believe it's up to us or anyone to decide who gets reposted as per

The shoddy code would often miss firehose events, so ppl wouldn't be picked up, or would still be picked up after unfollowing. Restarting fetches a fresh follower list.

I'll inv you to the repo, but the code is bad. Do what you like with it, I kept it private so ppl don't think it's usable.
