Being “apolitical” requires you to actively define which topics are political and which aren’t so that you can avoid them. Which is itself a really political thing to do.

I mean you don't want young ones looking at the literal proof that mass extinctions have happened and learning from an union how organized to try to survive the ongoing one. That might reduce the amount of bones available for the Big Donor Post Apocalypse Museum.

i'm rather new still to the indie scene, is there somewhere a writeup about these issues with the OSR term? i didn't even knew there is an issue :/
