I really do have to get on storyboarding so people can see how little the knives affect doves story. It's just a hoarding quirk. You could replace them with anything.

You're not supposed to buy into the the lie.

Of course I don't want them flattened to gay knife dog and musical whore respectively. That's completely at odds with their core character.

The point of their narrative is that the world sees them as nothing more than that and that it's a problem.

And sol is a story in what happens when core traumas aren't addressed and the obsession and fear and hyper sexuality that can come with being sexually assaulted. She's stuck in a loop of bad choices that keep her in this awful cycle.

Like Addy is a character constantly at odds with the narrative that she's a weak woman unsuited for the fight and values she believes in and is battling against constant infantalization.

Vents that people tend to flatten my characters into topical traits ignoring the depth I put into them. And that it's frustrating that that's all they're allowed to be.
