moved to window seat by checkin desk, middle seat is empty
gave up and took the car

volunteered to sleep in the top bunk in the truck and we seen to be missing some sort of ladder because there is no elegant, health and safety compliant way up here.

proud to say my car failed its MOT because… the rear fog light is on the wrong side?? it’s an import originally from germany but has gone through at LEAST six tests and not ONCE was anyone else bothered.

he seems to have a good grip on himself, better than he lets on, but i wonder how much his career up to f1 shielded him from the experience of being slower and not being able to do shit about it. f1’s a lousy place to have to learn that coping mechanism.

agreed to some last minute work double manning the truck to drop off airfreight and as thankful as i am, the idea of leaving my blanket nest and central heating for the train to the airport alone just feels like a terrible idea 🥶
