They must believe that funding fascist politics accelerates the delegitimization of political institutions and state currency. Because on its face a stronger national state runs counter to their aims. Network state etc.

Major stakeholders in their segment of the donor class are interested in non-state currency as a way to undermine the state. I'm not sure the politicians who receive this funding fully understand this. But the megadonors do.

Just because you're comfortable and prosperous enough to pretend in your day-to-day life that you don't benefit from these systems of violence, doesn't mean you don't tacitly endorse all of the above.
