Water lily with pale mauve pointed petals of different lengths, the centre is a dark purple and yellow. This lily looks like a starburst. Backed by flat green lily padsfloating on the water.

They're called 'Thoughts' in Spanish (Pensamientos). I always thought that was a lovely and somehow appropriate name for these flowers.

What are these (bearing in mind I'm in a sub-tropical part of Mexico)? Genuine question. They look familiar but I can't place them. The fruit looks a bit like a large fig but they're growing on a heavy vine.

Lantana. Very pretty and grows wild here. I see a lilac and white coloured one too but I like this one better.
