A cicada on a tree trunk, most of its face and one arm is white while the rest has the normal coloration.

This an Ohio pharaoh #cicada. I know that sometimes they are white from the molt, and sometimes it's a fungal disease, but I've not seen this before. My gut says it just isn't done hardening, but am I wrong? Can cicada be piebald?

Every time I get interrupted by a window saying the EULA has been updated, without reading it, I know they are demanding permission to take everything I do on their app, and use it for training data... sadly, no is not an option.

I went to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium and it is the best aquariums in Ohio and one of the better ones I have ever been to.

I spent the weekend in Cleveland and went to see the Arcade. It's a depressing place, there is nearly no retail and no visitors.

I get the failing malls all over the US, I wish this one had more fight in it. I'd love to shop here if there were places to shop.

On a walk the other day, I stumbled on a deer and her baby. The fawn startled at the same moment I noticed them. I swore I was about to get in a fistfight with a mama deer. I don't care that I out-weigh and out-reach her, she has bone fists and mama-rage.

🪶 Colorado offered up several wonderful birds. Ohio still has a lot more variety when it comes to colors and shapes.

Samba is a revelation the first time you discover it while building a new computer. Sending files from the old computer to the new via wifi is so much nicer than a removable hard drive.

Modern culture is waiting for the buffer to load on the ad before the content for the streaming movie you paid to access but don't own and will never be able to watch without ads. Only to realize that the whole movie is primarily a US Armed Forces recruitment ad.
