What I am saying is that Trump is the one who wants us to believe that the undocumented population is largely made up of violent criminals, thus necessitating rapid and massive deportation that requires that things like probable cause and due process be ignored.

Given the infinitesimally small number of immigrants that are violent criminals, there is no possibility of there being mass deportations, at least if that is supposedly the target. This whole "we're protecting the people" claim has been bogus from the very start.

There are so many people with stories very similar to this person's--it is all so complicated and very much not "one size fits all." I get that people don't appreciate nuance and that politicians like Trump seize on that fact so as to make their simplistic solutions sound reasonable.
