I’m glad you feel you’re getting good care. As a Vet, you DESERVE it. However, the VA is a bloated, expensive bureaucratic mess. I have had too many bad tales to tell… obvious missed diagnoses, pharmacists changing meds on their own incorrectly, arbitrarily discontinuing meds… etc.. IM x >30 yrs

I’ve been in the business 35 years and have seen outright dumb things from the VA over and over and over… it ain’t pretty. I know what I am taking about.

I’ve been an internist for over 30 years. My nickname for the VA is “The Vay”, as in “Oy”. So many bad things I have seen through the years. Bureaucratic mess. Our vets deserve better. Pay for Cadillac insurance for them, will be much cheaper.. VA just for PTSD, hearing aides, prosthetics

Especially the quick brown ones, which can be easily located jumping over lazy dogs
