Great. So we only have this admins EPA standing in the way. Want to take bets on if they decide these facilities dont break the NEPA rules? We're so screwed.

So all this fuss about ICE renting warehouses and factories is useless? If the Fed wants to stick 10k people in a suburb warehouse, there is literally nothing that can be done, short of invoking the NEPA? Why haven't they just done it? Why are our elected officials acting like anything can be done?

As a silly example, could i rent my yard to the DOE to store radioactive waste? Would that make my yard "fed property" and thus immune from local laws against waste dumping? Presumably the NEPA would prevent that, but that law covers "major" federal projects? Is there a set definition of "major"?

1. If private property is leased to the Federal Government does it then become "Federal Property" and no longer subject to local law?

2. Can local government zoning laws probibit a private property owner from leasing to the Feds?

What stops them from declaring any property they want as "federal property"? Surely this admin is not going to allow itself to be fettered by the Eviornmental Protection Act, if it doesn't even plan on abiding by the Supreme Court?

Surely there is a distinction between renting and owning? What would stop the Fed from simply declaring any area they want to control "federal property"? Like, why couldn't The Government just declare all of Mpls to be "Federal Property" and order everyone off it?

Then how are any of these projects being held up at a local level?

There has to be a way to turn the vague wording and unclear enforcement back on them. If the result is "no public restrooms in idaho", thats going to backfire really quickly

But seriously, how would this be enforced? What would stop someone from literally setting up camp outside a bathroom and literally challenging EVERYONE to "prove their sex"? If the potential rewards are so lucrative...

Hypothetically, whats to stop somone from accosting every bearded, muscled, masculine presenting person who goes into the Men's room and demanding proof they're not AFAB?

My right to exist as i see fit, to define myself, to determine my own future... these are not topics up for "debate". My human dignity is not up for "debate".

These "But they wont even entertain our premise that they're subhuman!" arguments are totally disingenuous on their faces.
