I suppose Fianna Fail and Fine Gael will now have no other choice but to fully lean into trying to lure the kind of voters who send them death threats

Who are the people who spoiled their ballot and why? An initial analysis

This is very important analysis by @kevcunningham.bsky.social Bottom line: the disaffected voters trending far right are becoming less apathetic and more active. It’s only a matter of time.

Why is my son’s special needs school used as a Polling Station for every election when there are THREE schools within a five minute walking radius of it? Being severely autistic and non-verbal, he needs strict routine.

Investigation launched into Dublin Airport passenger data breach The passenger details of potentially millions of people who used the airport in August have been compromised because of a data security breach at one of Dublin Airport’s key suppliers, it has emerged. There are fears that boarding pass information for the airport may have been published online by what the DAA– the authority that manages Dublin and Cork airports – described as a β€œcyber-criminal group”. β€œPassengers who travelled in August do not need to take any immediate action, [they] should remain alert to any unusual activity related to their bookings,” the DAA said confirming that an investigation is ongoing. The story was first reported by the Irish Times on Friday evening. DAA said an investigation has been launched into a data breach involving a third-party supplier, Collins Aerospace. According to the Irish Times, one of the files on the compromised server contained passenger boarding pass data relating to departures from Dublin Airport from 1 August to 31 August 2025. DAA said it received information that the file may have been exposed online by a cyber-criminal group. It made an initial report to the Data Protection Commission (DPC) about the breach on Friday 19 September after being notified by Collins Aerospace of a compromise of its IT systems. "DAA is aware of a data security incident involving a third-party supplier, Collins Aerospace," a daa spokesperson said. "The matter is under active investigation, and we are working closely with our regulators (IAA, DPC & NCSC) and affected airline partners." "At this time, there is no evidence of any direct impact on daa systems." "Passengers who travelled in August do not need to take any immediate action but should remain alert to any unusual activity related to their bookings," the spokesperson added. The DPC said it is working with DAA on the issue. "I can confirm that we have received a breach notification in relation to this matter and are engaging with DAA on it," said Deputy Commissioner Graham Doyle in a statement.

Analysis | America can’t quit smartphones. Smart glasses won’t help. We keep hoping that a magical technology can liberate us from what we don’t like about technology.

The lie is that glasses are made to liberate you from screens. The purpose of the glasses is to make sure you have no experiences except those mediated through a companies’ technology.
