I'm so happy. I discovered MST3K on Sci Fi channel in 1997 & this was the group that were my introduction to it!

The free MST3K channels in places like Samsung TV, Pluto TV etc. are run by Shout Factory. They could easily just put up new episodes there. This gives them distribution. (Instead of making people pay for a new platform.)

I went immediately to Reddit and of course I'm wading through things there but it seems like this is a good financial arrangement. Shout Factory is behind it. And they've managed the reruns forever. There's so much potential.

I've heard so much about how weird it was trying to film in LA, with digital sets and lots of union puppeteers, etc etc and now this is just: back to Best Brains in MN

I'm excited. Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, & Bill Corbett were my introduction to MST3K in 1997 so I'm partial to that group.

Oh, that's really big. Basically the second after Joel Hodgson decides he's out for good and sells his stake in MST3K, now Mike Nelson is going to take a run at it. For the first time since he left the original series, right? Door is open now!
