Just found out that #lancerrpg is the much more active hashtag than #LANCER_RPG.

Currently reading #NoRoomForAWallflower for #LANCER_RPG - this seems to be an amazing campaign. I hope I get to play this some time with my group.

I recommend picking this up for every LANCER-GM, especially for the clock-work.

Non-Combat scenarios for #LANCER_RPG:
* search & rescue during natural catastrophes
* disaster relief immediately after a fight in an urban area
* mech-sports like MECHBALL, MECHBRAWL and MECHFALL
* handling of mech- or kaiju-sized stock or wildlife
* exploration in dangerous environments

That is what one-shots are for, I suspect.

If you are looking for inspiration for a #metavault run in #LANCER_RPG #TTRPG, I'd like to direct your attention towards the wonderful world of #Numenera - it is full of beautiful high strangeness.

Orbital authorities want containment. Corporate observers want samples. Union wants answers. The locals want their world back. You are on the ground because someone has to be.

This was the first impact.
It will not be the last.

Since then, compasses spin, drones refuse RTB, and a perimeter fence now encloses more space on the inside than the outside. Night lasts longer near the crater. Voices carry without sound. A child walked into the exclusion zone yesterday and came back older, quieter, and insisting nothing is wrong.

No strategic assets. No classified infrastructure. Just water towers, soil processors, and a population that still believed tomorrow would look like yesterday.

Before the starships decide to pass by again.

Omninet relay. The signal isn’t a cry for help. It’s a logistics handshake, confirming receipt of ships that never arrived and supplies that were never delivered. Locals insist nothing is wrong and warn you not to interfere. They survived abandonment once and won’t survive renewed attention.
