A storefront in Hollywood glows during the golden hour. Some palm trees line the street it’s on. Circa 2005 maybe?
They used this building on Beverly and Gardner as the Peach Pit in the newer version of 90210. I drove or walked by it every day so would see them filming. One day while driving by, they weren’t actively filming and I saw Tristan Wilds. I leaned out the window and yelled “yo Omar’s coming.” He liked that so he smiled and waved.
I don’t usually take pictures within the city, but the last one seemed to be liked so here goes. I’ll be back to mountains, rivers and oceans soon enough I suppose.
Slavery is white history, how we survived it is Black history. - Malcolm Jamal Warner

Documents offer new details about the origins of the EPA's attempt to deregulate pollution
MS NOW has reviewed documents revealed as a result of an earlier lawsuit filed last August by the Environmental Defense Fund and the Union of Concerned Scientists.
It is literally zero surprise that they knew their hand-picked climate deniers weren’t putting out real science.
Their nonsense has never been real, but part of a fraudulent propaganda campaign, designed by fossil fuel to protect its “free-to-pollute” business model.

There’s no should. Americans have the right to vote without interference.
Democrats must use stronger language to convey we are not taking anymore of their crap.

These states voted to protect abortion rights. Conservative lawmakers are not standing down
A trial in Missouri illustrates how hard it is to restore abortion rights, even when voters demand it
After Missouri residents voted to repeal their state’s near-total abortion ban and enshrine abortion rights into their constitution, abortion providers still had to challenge a slew of restrictions. More than a year later, they're still in court. It's not the only state with this same problem.

I keep seeing posts stating that ICE cannot enter your home or a private business without a judicial warrant. While that is legally correct, in reality ICE routinely violates the law by forcing their way in, often by smashing down doors, before violently assaulting people.

The Founders (rightly) thought financial corruption was so concerning they banned it in the Constitution three separate times: the two emoluments clauses, and the only named impeachable offense besides treason.
