@benaaronovitch.bsky.social What ho, Ben! I must say, โMasquerades of Springโ was a most pleasing diversion. Might I ask, can we expect further editions of โThe Quite Splendid Adventures of Augustus Berrycloth-Youngโ?
Toodle pip,
Matt

I find myself with a schedule gap (July) for Emperors of Rome. If you're an academic with a microphone and an idea for an episode, get in touch!

Ah, but in series 7 there's an episode called 'Stoke me a Clipper' in which Arnold Rimmer takes the place of Ace and completely gets the catch phrase wrong! In the moment I felt it more appropriate for Crassus. :)

The new Emperors of Rome episode has been delayed sorry. It's edited, but I need to work on the episode after it as well, and make sure there isn't too much content overlap.
All will be clear.
The good news is they'll come out close together.
Thanks for your patience.

The bad thing about Afterpay: if my wife is pissed at me today, she's going to be pissed at me again on a weekly basis for the next three weeks.

Working on the final episode of the year for Emperors of Rome. I've recorded perhaps the best voice over ever, or taken it too far.
