I think about this sometimes, I'll read a book and I'll pick up part way through that the writer is a misogynist or something and I have to determine whether to continue on and parse out the good stuff or just scrap the whole thing. Sometimes I can continue on but sometimes it's just too glaring.

Like, it's so painful to have earbuds in your ear and suddenly someone is screaming in them. Mat doesn't do this, his sound remains pretty consistent but Rachel will go from speaking quietly to full on screaming and it literally hurts.
