I asked this in a group chat but still curious what others think.. with Mandelson and Mountbatten-Windsor arrested, does this mean the powerful are finally being held accountable or just these are the expendable ones to make it look like the powerful are being held to account?

And my team: chien Pao, urshifu water (both glass cannon physical attackers), Rillaboom who sets up grassy terrain and can hit hard, tornadus which gives me speed control and disruption, flutter mane which is a special attacker but frail, and Farigiraf which shuts down priority moves

Did 5 matches today and decided that’s tournament finished for me. Positive record for the day at 3-2 and overall record 13-22

I’ve learnt a lot for the future and will try and get more involved in the scene and learn more

Today was slightly better (partly because the opponents I’m against are a similar level to me as my ranking goes down per my results) so I got 6-9 record today and overall 10-20… 33% of the time I win every time

It definitely strikes me that someone did it but isn’t a graphic designed themselves

Finished my allocation of games for day 1. One match disconnected before a turn and it still counted as a loss against me. I’m 4-11, not an ideal record but that’s okay, I’m learning and we go again tomorrow

Played 5 games this morning, won 3 and lost 2. The two losses I think were winnable had I made different decisions but that’s how it is sometimes. I’m satisfied with how it’s going

Tomorrow begins my first-ever pokemon VGC tournament, wish me luck.. I'll either be mediocre or terrible, we shall see

I love this. I think it’s very powerful and the Greens have given me hope that a better future is possible - infinitely more hope than I’ve felt in my lifetime since being aware of politics

My team has many *many* weaknesses but in general it’s an okay team and I’m proud of it already as it’s one I’ve put together myself (in terms of theorycrafting and conceptually), resourced and caught myself within the game.

I’ve got a team prepped and registered for the tournament, it has weaknesses of course but I’ve done a bit of prep to help with certain matchups and then it’s a case of playing well and winning tight end-games when they come up. I won’t win the whole thing, but I’ll see how I go

Jim Ratcliffe is a prick. I always thought he was.
He has done nothing to suggest that he is not a prick. I loathe Jim Ratcliffe and as a result I find it very hard to get behind his cycling team. He was a prick before he got into cycling. He’s always been a prick. I hope that clears things up.

That’s always my favourite bit of non-English media, is the loan words. There’s a Welsh soap opera called pobol y cwm and when I’ve seen clips I’ve understood practically nothing and then they’ll just drop a “fish and chips” or “ffydeo”(which sounds just like video)

I seem to recall that she doesn’t like the English version and doesn’t perform it any longer

Pokemon VGC question now— if you Tera stellar, do you keep your immunities? Which is to say, if you have a ghost pokemon and go Tera stellar with it, can it still not be hit by normal moves?
