3 months ago my best friend and I put in to take today off from work to avoid Halloween hoopla that makes it nearly impossible to get any work done. I grew up on the north Oregon coast. I spent 15 years In Portland before I moved to ID. (oh, the things we do for love!) You can take the girl out of Oregon, but you can't take the Oregon out of the girl. Stay Strong Portland and Keep It Weird.

It's rather amazing how grief can hit you differently for each loss.

I grew up a few miles north of there in a little place called Astoria! Heehee. Seaside was our high school arrival. We used to pile into cars and drive to Seaside on Friday nights to cruise the gut. I've driven around that turn around probably hundreds of times!

A number of my friends are enjoying time trveling in Korea. My joy for them is pitted by the grief of losing my bestie. I hate this jagged space my heart is in.

That's awesome. I have some ink, one of which is a group tattoo between me and four other local older BTS fans that I connected with almost 2 years ago. We've become true and Fast Friends sharing many other things outside of BTS. We call ourselves the BoraGang. There is BTS ink in my future.

Not long after that I rekindled a passion for writing that had been buried for years and I wrote an extensive fanfic. As my story line evolved, because it is an extensive work about the entire group and a couple of characters I created, I caught myself between Namjoon and Hoseok on the regular.

No worries I completely get it. I was drawn in first by Jin,and his voice. The first time I saw BTS perform was on the Grammys. Then Jimin and caught my attention, but as an older Baby Army I struggled with seeing a man vs a cute boy. I think that was a mental block.

When I first became Army I thought that being OT7 meant that you couldn't have a bias. After a while I learned otherwise. I personally believe that at our core all true Army are OT7, the rest is just icing and crunchy sprinkles on the cake.

I lost my best friend unexpectedly one week ago. She fought her demons for years. She brought me to BTS. My life is forever changed thanks to her, and now she's gone.
