This is all the Arsenal development team need to hear to justify their lacklustre efforts in managing outgoing loan players 🤣

I’d add Viv Lia to the more successful bunch, but that needs to be maximised across the board.

A goalkeeper bench warming in the second tier is bad player management.

Recruitment seems to stop at signing a cluster of players on free transfers, and disregards other important areas of player development.

These young players need to either:

A) Be getting playing minutes

B) Be training in an environment that will help their development.

Something else I think that needs to be looked at is the way Arsenal handle their loan players.

Both Maddy Earl and Naomi Williams are hardly touching the pitch for Ipswich and Bristol City, and Laila Harbert’s time at Portland raises a few questions.

As climate change shifts the conditions in which we live, it would be naïve to think sport won’t be affected. It already is — and for women’s sport in particular, the challenges are two‑fold.
