I was deeply disturbed to learn about the homophobic attack that took place on Saturday, 12th April, outside the Old Bridge Pub in Norridge Bottom.

My message is clear: everyone has the right to feel safe, and we must collectively adopt a zero-tolerance stance against hate crime.

Two years ago, Nigel Farage was happy to see Scunthorpe go under.

This Labour government won’t sit on our hands and watch British steel go to the wall.

We’ll act - today, to secure Britain’s steel production.

Happy Mother's Day!

Today, we come together to celebrate and express our gratitude to all the wonderful mums for everything they do. We also take a moment to remember and honor those who are no longer with us.

Crime and antisocial behaviour has a huge impact on our communities and has been a key concern for many constituents.

The Crime & Policing Bill tackles the serious issues people are facing and will give the police the powers they need to make our streets and communities safer.

I was elected to improve the NHS, and we've made a great start.

There's still a long way to go, and it'll take time for new policies and investments to make an impact. But progress is already underway.

We are stepping up support, boosting military aid and extending our training programme for Ukrainian armed forces.

We will support Ukraine for as long as it takes because their security is our security too. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

Some basic facts:

1. Russia invaded Ukraine and murdered thousands.

2. US and EU defence equipment and European money have supported Kyiv jointly.

3. Zelenskyy is no dictator

4. Putin is determined on destroying NATO alliances to advance his power.

It's clear that there's more work to do to help them navigate the online world safely - a subject I'll return to soon.

So powerful to hear from survivors of child sexual abuse tonight at event organised by Sarah Champion MP

We must do more to help survivors and prevent it happening to more children. It happens everywhere, all over the country - and we must do more to stop it.
