I was deeply disturbed to learn about the homophobic attack that took place on Saturday, 12th April, outside the Old Bridge Pub in Norridge Bottom.
My message is clear: everyone has the right to feel safe, and we must collectively adopt a zero-tolerance stance against hate crime.

Very proud tonight to have voted through the final stages of Labour’s Employment Rights Bill - Royal Assent is now the final stage before it becomes law.
The Bill:
✅ Protects workers from unfair dismissal

I was pleased to show my support for this year's Safer Internet Day and meet some of the young people fighting for a safer, more inclusive online world.
It's clear that there's more work to do to help them navigate the online world safely - a subject I'll return to soon.
So powerful to hear from survivors of child sexual abuse tonight at event organised by Sarah Champion MP
We must do more to help survivors and prevent it happening to more children. It happens everywhere, all over the country - and we must do more to stop it.
