Had Thancred and Althea not rekindled their relationship after the Bloody Banquet, she would have stayed with Hien in Doma.

Or if they’d still not rekindled during their time on The First, Althea would have remained with Cerigg and training Taynor. Living in the Crystarium alongside her brother.
