So where are your county's Regional Transportation Authority sales tax revenues going? It was a mixed bag in 2023. Lake received about $41.2 million and McHenry $14 million from the sales tax. Both counties funneled 100% into transportation. DuPage's RTA tax share was $67.9 million and officials dedicated just 2.9%, or $2 million, to transportation in fiscal year 2023. The remainder went to fund public safety.

RTA sales tax money helps pay for services including transportation and the sheriff's office in DuPage, Conroy said. "They would take that money away and we would never see it again - $72 million (for DuPage). We would have massive layoffs."

Discord recently partnered with a Generative AI called DomoAI and apparently they’re in every server but sneakily don't show up in the member list. However they still use the art/images sent in the server to train their AI. To bypass this, people have found the AI’s ID so we can ban them. The AI has already been banned in this server, but for anyone here who has a server or is in another art/creative space, please use this advice and ban the following ID using the /ban command. 1153984868804468756 It may also be smart to start watermarking your pieces.

Lena McDonald recently published a book with an obvious AI prompt in it. A prompt in which she clearly ASKED FOR THE AI TO WRITE IN A SPECIFIC AUTHORS WRITING STYLE (J Bree)!! I believe the book has since been removed from Amazon, but wanted more people to be aware I want so they don’t support!! Spread the word! Friends don’t let friends support art theft!!
