Sort-of. Bit more Yozi-like - as your acolytes deepen their mastery and adherence to your esoteric vampire inner-alchemy, you siphon off a bit of their XP and get your Essence up before any of them do.

The presence of the master vampire's blood in their acolytes means as they strive to improve some of their results are siphoned off to further empower the master.
This has surely been done before, better, by someone else but as long as I remain ignorant of specifics I won't feel compelled to quit.
