well, factories get a bad rap, I think. But I also think that’s because our version of capitalism played a part in getting that bad rap. Imagine if the second question was, “I’d be better off in an employee-owned factory”? I was a factory worker in Oregon. It wasn’t nice.

I think we’re learning how to process information overload. How do we pay attention, and remain calm? The web is so so new, and humanity so ancient. Call it “the quickening”, “age of Aquarius”, or whatever. It’s real, and I think we’d all do best to steer the discourse in a more stoic direction.
