In fairness, we did have one day without rain.

Remember the majority of his career was played under managers who set up not to lose. He was regularly in the list of players to carry the ball the most yards in their own half. All the others in the top 10 were generally centre backs. Definitely our GOAT IMO.

We had a spell at the start of last season where we were exposed behind the wb's. Once the starting 11 were totally in sync with it we improved greatly. Might be the same now, once he's settled on his 11. Right now there's too many not familiar with the system & making individual errors & decisions.

All low block wins like that are exceptions.

I've been saying Spurs and Newcastle are the only "bigger" clubs I can see wanting him, if they're not put off by his behaviour recently. Honestly beginning to feel that we were his ceiling all along and he's miscalculated. Him & Marinakis could be a fun watch.

Yep, Bloom already knows who's coming in if needed. We've just started our list this week with the 2 sackings. 😁

We don't know him obviously, but I do wonder how he feels about what he did in anger now. He's compromised our whole season and not done himself any favours. It's not a good look now for someone looking for a bigger job. Reputation has definitely taken a hit IMO.

He will, it's the way he is wired. He just needs to find out what that is & we all know that takes him a little time. The only difference is that he now will have subs he's willing to use. I think we'll be fine, but frustrating.

The problem is we all know nothing. 3 days ago we deservedly beat Brighton, so there's nothing wrong. Then tonight we unexpectedly lose to a poor side and it's all cos the players know the managers leaving. The subconscious is a wonderful thing.

After the cup final I thought, it's just a blip and normality will return next season. Then when we deservedly won the Community Shield I thought, hell maybe we're gonna make that step up. Sucker! It's the hope that kills you.

The worry is the intensity of the players when they know the manager is off. Subconsciously if they relax it's not good, but when you go 2 up against a poor team the deckchairs come out. Hopefully it's just the usual slow restart after a window under Ollie & nothing more sinister.

He's the latest in a long line of managers that can work well on a budget, but struggle with a bunch of big time Charlie's. Honestly think it says more about Spurs than him. I think he could do well for us.

You don't not play good, proven prem players. As for JSL if he's not playing to get a move to a bigger club, why is he playing? We want players with ambition, surely? JP's attitude has never been a problem before and he was a massive part of that dressing room, I'm sure him and JSL will get on fine.

He's a proven prem centre forward & now has competition, so that should help focus the mind. I have absolutely no problem with a player wanting to move to a bigger club, in fact I'd be more worried if they weren't trying to move on to bigger things. He'll get an important goal before the season ends
