My cat, goblin, was not amused by the packaging I received today.

Well, the 3-D printed parts didn’t turn out exactly perfect, and I didn’t have the right primer. But since this project is basically me trying to make something out of trash, I think it’s going OK so far.

The back hatch isn’t even worth picturing, it doesn’t really fit.

Just to prepare for its future catastrophic failure, I've decided to name this machine Hubris.

Yeah, I’m going to topcoat over this even though it would look better if I did the wear over the gloss finish.

Might as well have made it a kitten with a raspberry filling.

I'm not trying to make the replacement bits invisible, in case they ever end up in anyone else's hands, I want them to know the toy isn't original.

Attempt number two, using PETG for a stronger piece, and in a fairly good color match.

Using the 3-D printing equivalent of MS paint to make these parts, but kind of nice fixing up some of my old childhood toys.

I see SEVERAL things wrong with this listing.

It's funny how often in Chinese or Korean webcomics you'll see a character who is just an obvious ripoff of a video game character. More often in Chinese Webcomics, and much more blatantly, but I just saw a character who's name I can only assume would be Cloub Strif.

The significant portion of every one of my nights/any time I am sitting down, is with this ridiculous creature insisting I hold her in my arms.

Also giving me access to modern 3d printing technology may have been a mistake.
