Lucky enough to be at the opening of this exhibition at Queen's Gallery, Holyrood Palace. Fascinating overview of photographic techniques over the last century. Would have benefitted from more photographs in Scotland and some imagery or artefacts of the cameras they used at the time

One of the benefits of working in a multidisciplinary museum is that I occasionally indulge my passion for baking. Dinosaur cakes this time 🎂 🤩

Just remember it is a hagiography and comes with a health warning, as with all attempts to fit archaeology to 'history' (& it isn't a history, it is a biography) but have fun!

You can fit it to Tacitus but we know they were campaigning after Agricola (& indeed before in southern Scotland)
