Expensive carpet tufting contraption that I bough. Got frustrated with the tarn constantly falling out of it, probably because I put the fabric on the frame crooked. Also took up too much room, and need to buy carpet glue. May or may not recommence.

On this one I had intended on entering it into a textiles art prize. Missed the deadline, so now it’s added into my unfinished artwork pile

A textile work that I actually committed to embroidering every word (the word of a poem I wrote about being 30 and probably never having the opportunity to have children and loving my best friends unborn child so deeply) she’s due to give birth any moment, may or may not finish this one.

Wanted: readings about Fugitivity. Not The Undercommons (obviously?). I’ve been thinking about fugitive desire a lot. Specifically in the realm of ARIs.

I have an exhibition opening on Thursday. “It’s all we have” - Portraits of friends. I haven’t exhibited solo in…many years…collaboration has always been the key to my practice…now I think of it, it’s not really solo when friends trusted me to create these images of their things. Nice.

I’ve been thinking so much about writing that I haven’t written a word and instead have used all decent brain energy on simple considerations.
