Time to myself today. For the past 7 months, I've spent Tuesdays visiting a friend in the palliative care unit. Today, I no longer have (get) to do that. Lots of adventure in this man's life, a life filled with so much more joy than pain, as it should have been.

Still can't believe this happened. I got to talk to the Washington Post about my soul cat, the lessons she taught me, and the book I made to honor her. 🧡
