Dear neighbors,
It is now February. I think it is safe to take down your outdoor Christmas decorations. I’m okay if you want to keep your twinkle lights up, but can we please put away the giant blow-up Santas?

That’s exactly what I did after my meeting!

I came in to the office for the first time since I broke my foot and we can’t use the bathroom. How perfect.

We’re on a dead end, so if they come to salt, it’s usually at least a day after the snow. Most of the time we just end up clearing the part of the street around our driveways and hoping for a thaw!

It’s always a good sign when the salt truck comes down your street and starts spinning its wheels. 🙄

Perspective is a beautiful thing. Today I took my first walk outside since breaking my foot in October. It was only a mile, but it made me so happy.

I’m knitting a sweater using three skeins of handspun, and somehow I’ve got them all attached to the sweater right now.

If you’d like to make the world a better place, you could start by flushing the toilet when you use a public restroom. It’s really not that hard.

My father just Rickrolled us totally by chance.

I’d be getting a pedicure, too, but I’m still stuck in this situation:

Starting off my last day of 2024 with a manicure — i.e., treating myself. My body has had a hard year but is healing, so it seems right to pamper it a little.

If you are so afraid to drive that you can only manage 10 mph in a 25 mph zone, you’re riding your breaks the whole time, and you roll right through stop signs, maybe you shouldn’t be driving.

Proof I need to have my coffee before I can make my coffee: Today I put in 5 scoops of coffee and 9 cups of water. 🤦‍♀️

The problem with putting on eye makeup when you don’t normally wear it is that you forget you have it on until after you’ve rubbed your eyes.

I will miss running in Florida because it’s much flatter here than at home. What I will not miss is ending up looking like a poppyseed bagel because I’ve run through clouds of gnats.

The problem with having similar taste to your mother and going on vacation either her is that she might end up wearing your exercise pants.
