It’s OK to admit that we’re off the map of our experience. The rules & best practices some of us are accustomed to, in certain situations, may no longer apply. Yet... they're still here, standing outside of the boarded up Stonewall Inn, smiling as the world was at a fever pitch of hatred against them.

I think about it a lot in moments like this.

Some Republicans are also introducing bills in state legislatures that mimic the language of Trump’s directive that federal employees around DEI. Yes: workers are being told to snitch on their colleagues for suspicious diversity activity and for trying to be inclusive.
