If the Syrians and Georgians succeed in their struggle, it will send a powerful signal to everyone under the russian boot that right now is the time to get rid of it.

This is almost surreal to watch. 14 years of carnage and bloodshed, 14 years of Assad burning and slaughtering Syria so he could remain in power, and now the regime seems to just collapse into itself.

It's just a pity that it's the Turkish backed Islamists who are winning right now. I doubt they will retake all of Syria, if they do, it will be a Turkish puppet state, something Erdoğan strived to get since 2011.

Some context:

It took the Assad regime 4+ years to conquer Aleppo, with the assistance of Iranian, Iraqi and Lebanese Shia militias, and Russian aerial domination.

If this offensive continues at this pace, Assad could well lose Aleppo in 4 days.

Since I touched on it in the last post, the Trump narrative that Europe is sending no aid to Ukraine and free-loading off U.S aid is complete bullshit. Combined, we send even slightly more than the U.S.
