Back pain took me down this weekend and I’m slowly getting up from it today. Nearly 4 days of sitting in a heat pad, reading books and scrolling a little too much. Putting life on pause is frustrating but I’m at lease glad I’ve learned how to let myself heal instead of pushing through.

Stay woke and angry and organized. 👊🏿

Interesting to me how the focus always lands on cutting expenses rather in increasing revenue. It’s such a reductive mindset and workers and customers tend to bear the burden of spending cuts and it ultimately hurts the business.

Sunday thoughts: This society can feel relentlessly busy. And there are a lot of urgent things to be concerned about right now. It’s very easy to work constantly. If we want some rest, we need to carve out intention time.

I’ve been thinking about all the things that are part of the resistance. A two hour catch up with a gal pal where you connect on how that guy in your collective past is a manipulative misogynistic nightmare is absolutely part of the resistance.

If Democrats won't act like an opposition party, we will.

Even through I’m genderfluid, I identify with the bullshit women and femmes endure in society because I’ve experienced it directly. It is real. And the fight for all of our basic human rights is very real right now.

Happy International Women’s Day to all women! You do not have to have a uterus to be a woman. Trans women are women. There are cis women who no longer have uteruses. All women and femmes experience discrimination from the patriarchy and beyond on some way. We are all in this fight together.

can you boycott one more day? one more week? how long can you imagine, and what would make that longer?
(and if not keeping up total boycotts against fascism, genocide and/or resegregation, which parts of it can you sustain the longest?)

I hate to be the stinker here, and yet: these calls for the Dems to boycott or do symbolic things like wearing certain colors on the same day seems really out of touch to me. We need y’all to govern and fight this coup with every tool in the tool box.

Actually stand with trans people in a meaningful way.
