05.10.2025 19:33 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This makes me wonder...does the mere possession of such a little machine, and attending to it, automatically make one unable to be empty?
Or does it just measure what's happening, sometimes which there's nothing one can do abt it?
about as interesting as watching Shaq play basketball against elementary school kids
03.10.2025 12:08 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Well, I *sort of* agree.
Obviously, the ideal is that he IS clean and just literally makes a mockery of probability. At least then a shrug would give acceptance.
Gawr, if only he'd fire his ex-doper managers!!
I like your preface to this...no one expected that awful crash that happened to Jonas that utterly changed his trajectories...this can happen to any rider at any time
30.09.2025 13:49 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I mean, we're talkin bout a rider who either has terrified everyone so much he does whatever he wants, no one even twitches to stop him, OR a rider so far outside statistical probabilities of genetic superiority better than anyone ever in history that it's moot & he does what he wants...
or dirty
That's a horsecrap thing for a mechanic to say to a rider who's been in that saddle for umpteen kazillion billion miles and simply *knows* the slightest differences...and they matter.
29.09.2025 08:34 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0GAwww I am so sorry to give it away.
Yeah, RIGHT when I got up into the race abt 130 AM Pacific Time here on the west coast of North America lol
I get the computer open, get the race dialed in and see a small scrum of riders torn open...there him was and out
dang...I stumbled on to this after I saw Soler crash out
28.09.2025 10:11 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0They certainly have accomplished any purpose aimed at a cycling team that does no genocide and influences no policy, tho they do bear the name of a nation that does so.
The jury is still out on the topic of if they will assist in getting that nation to change its murderous ways.
"The sight of evil kindles evil in the soulโthere is no getting away from this fact. The victim is not the only sufferer; everybody in the vicinity of the crime, including the murderer, suffers with him. Something of the abysmal darkness of the world has broken in on us, poisoning the very air we breathe and befouling the pure water with the stale, nauseating taste of blood. True, we are innocent, we are the victims, robbed, betrayed, outraged; and yet for all that, or precisely because of it, the flame of evil glowers in our moral indignation. It must be so, for it is necessary that someone should feel indignant, that someone should let himself be the sword of judgment wielded by fate. Evil calls for expiation, otherwise the wicked will destroy the world utterly, or the good suffocate in their rage which they cannot vent, and in either case no good will come of it." C. G. Jung, Civilization in Transition, Collected Works, Vol. 10, par. 410
27.09.2025 17:53 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This yr Milan San Remo was like that...I woke up abt 15 mins from the coast. Perfect.
I *do* go back and rewatch the entire race tho
Yeah, but how PERFECT tho...
I live in the West Coast of North America, so I am regularly up for the rollout at anywhere from 1230 AM to 400AM...and I love to get the race on, kick back with my coffee and blankie, watch a while, let the rhythm establish...and then snooze for 50-60k...wake up. YEAH
omfg THAT was EPIC and fabulous
27.09.2025 17:18 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0different race, same old alibi
27.09.2025 16:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Sommentary: that lovely white noise of early race commentary that lulls me to sleep...
27.09.2025 16:52 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It doesn't work
laying back waiting for "someone else" to animate the race and then exploiting that...
it's the tactic of the colonizer
EXACTLY!! That's exactly what I was trying to lay out!

27.09.2025 14:01 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Btw, right now in the race we are seeing something that frustrates me as a Demi fan...she just has a real knack for missing the big move

27.09.2025 13:59 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0OK, that is how I read it too! What you said, and then when I saw their headline I wasn't sure why they put it that way.
27.09.2025 13:59 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Hans, what do you think of no radios in the Worlds RR?
For me, I never ever liked the radios in the first place, but once they came in I never favored making them race without them. It was a factor so unusual it potentially could stymie a good result otherwise.
I live in Oregon in the US...been living/riding/eating/breathing cycling since the 80s...and it was TOUGH back in the day to find ANYTHING in this country
