I am not a bigot. I wrote the Open and Affirming statement for my church and have supported the Human Rights Campaign. I am a Democratic Socialist, an atheist, and a feminist who has come to realize in the last few years that biological sex segregation in certain areas protects women.

My first and definitely last time working with the Los Angeles Times. Editing out the most urgent point of an OpEd in the minutes before sending to press while then also assigning a title and image that suggest an argument entirely opposite to the author’s clear intent is pretty shitty.

Don't you think it is more helpful to try and fix the incompetence and corruption that led to this? Instead of ranting about Republicans, maybe California democrats will be better served by stopping the DEI grift and actually doing their job?
