This week, I did the following:
1. Was fast, thorough, and sharp as a tack
2. Toured the facility
3. Picked up slack
4. Successfully earwormed @thegatelessgate.bsky.social
5. Wore a short skirt and looooong jacket

In case you want to know. I’m not okay. I am a thin veneer of calm over a roiling mass of rage, worry, and despair. No I don’t want to talk about it. I welcome kind thoughts and words of support. But I do not have capacity to respond to individual check-ins. Solidarity to those in similar straits.

I’m so proud!

And then we laughed and served the sour cream along with the latkes (and ham) anyway

When I proposed this menu to my husband asking if it was objectionable, he suggested we could serve the latkes without sour cream, just applesauce

We had latkes and ham to celebrate.
