the thing about this offseason is that owners are gonna push a lot of narratives and propaganda to make it seem like "buying championships" is a bad thing when that's actually just y'know appropriate compensation for players. they have been on this for months already. media literacy is so important.

owners want a cap because they want to see more of the bottom line; they don't want to increase payroll despite all 30 MLB teams being valued at over A BILLION DOLLARS. it will never level a playing field when a cap will cause teams to spend less and field less competitive teams. hope this helps!
