Yes, but they haven't been updated in decades and it leads to a situation where even OEM engineers are bragging about skirting them by only making the headlight dim in the small test areas and overspec bright everywhere else. I use to love driving at night, but now it is just being blinded

When I got my toaster oven back in 2018 I searched out a mechanical one. I found a black and decker one for cheap (the expensive ones were all digital) that has three knobs and a bell. Only downside is, it behaves exactly the same plugged in or not, so sometimes I wait 20min for cold food...

This is why I refuse to buy any durable good that has part of the major functionsmality controlled by an app. The only "app controlled" things in my house are the window ACs and they have buttons for if the app isn't working. There really needs to be a law about this...
