The end of DOE’s grid work in Puerto Rico The Trump administration has canceled all eight of the remaining awards devoted to distributed energy on the island.

Let's pick this up again concerning PR's electrical grid. Just a few days ago:
"The Trump administration has canceled all eight of the remaining awards devoted to distributed energy on the island."

#BadBunny made us Puerto Ricans proud. Great messages and highlighting our culture. I espec. like when he reminded Puerto Ricans/all Latinos/a/x to love themselves. I'm sure he was encouraging them to keep their heads up despite awful treatment from ICE/U.S. government towards Hispanic-Latinos.

Bad Bunny didn’t just ask for a seat at the table.

He flipped it over and brought in a bigger one.

A new America is emerging with a more expansive view of patriotism, love of country and Americanness.

It’s coming! It’s here! Whether you like it or not.

β€˜We want to take over’: All the (recent) times Trump has talked about controlling elections Trump's allies are starting to translate his anti-democratic statements into actions.

President Donald Trump isn’t exactly known for his restraint. But recently the mask has fully slipped off. www.democracydocket.com/analysis/tru...

Ossoff: We were told that MAGA was for working-class Americans. But this is a government of, by, and for the ultra-rich. It’s the wealthiest Cabinet ever. This is the Epstein class. They are the elites they pretend to hate.

Let’s walk back to where we started. What motivates Trump? The answer is simple: racism. You might also say ego and raw self-interest, but the two are connected. Racism, among other things, is a kind of chauvinism, a belief in one’s inherent superiority, based on nothing other than a meaningless accident of birth. It’s an ideology that papers over feelings of inadequacy, that tells you that β€” no matter what you have or have not accomplished in your life β€” you’re still better than someone, some group.

Let’s suppose you’re the spoiled son of a self-made man. Let’s suppose that, despite your flash and bravado, you’ve failed at virtually everything you’ve tried. You’re the laughingstock of polite society, a punchline for the privileged. You think you’re superior enough to be the president of the United States β€” the highest honor in your country β€” but the actual president is a man of humble origins, a minority of the kind your family didn’t even rent to when you were in the landlord business. And he is claiming power that rightfully belongs to you. He’s even mocking you, ridiculing you for all the world to see.

For years, a cottage industry of political observers has contorted itself to obscure and occlude the obvious. That regardless of what others see in him, Trump’s entire political career β€” from his embrace of birtherism to his hatred of birthright citizenship β€” cannot be understood outside the context of his bitter, deep-seated racism.

The Washington Post Is No Longer Useful to Jeff Bezos In a kleptocracy, there is no reason for a billionaire to own an adversarial news outlet.

There is zero reason for a billionaire to own an adversarial news outlet in a kleptocracy. And so billionaires are gutting the media companies they own, reorienting them to better align with the regime, and spending money on bribes rather than journalists

New Mexico Senate approves bill to ban ICE detention centers The New Mexico Legislature approved the Immigration Safety Act. House bill 9 bars the state from allowing ICE detention centers.

This is another effort that has taken a HUGE amount of local activism, led by community folks who care.

It CAN be done. Get involved where you live and push back.

Warning Signs of Election Interference The Fulton County raid and other recent developments show how Trump and his allies are moving to discredit losses and control future elections.

Trump’s ambitions extend far beyond relitigating his 2020 loss. The Fulton raid should set alarm bells ringing about Trump’s willingness to abuse the power of his office to undermine free and fair elections in 2026 and 2028.

What training manual in what agency instructs ICE agents that it's permissible to chase down a protestor and point a loaded gun at the top of their head while screaming at them?

We have to understand that ICE is being instructed by Trump to ignore law and convention and terrorize not police.
