I'm glad the swap went well. I tried to do a shell swap on my original pair along with replacing the sticks and while the sticks worked fine, I snapped the battery terminal off one of them and one of the shoulder buttons no longer works on the other. Oh well...

my cf to ide adapter for the Thinkpad 365x arrived. I realized it has an esfm capable soundchip so the first thing I did after installing dos was load up that esfm demo disk that was released recently. I'm blown away by how good this sounds. it's so cool running this on real hardware!!
