I was a server for 9 years as I worked my way through grad school and I agree 100%. These same skills have served me very well as a high school teacher. In general, I find that people who had to actually work their way up in life have these and other skills that the entitled never learn.

NEW: Natasha Korecki at NBC reports that in light of the SCOTUS tariff ruling, Gov. Pritzker sent President Donald Trump an invoice of $8.6 billion.

It is horrifying on an existential level that this man has access to scissors, let alone the nuclear codes and our entire country's future. Just...so...horrifying.

This tariff ruling is causing considerable confusion.
But one thing is clear. 100% of any tariff refunds will be paid to corporations that passed on increased costs to consumers. We paid the tariffs. They will get the refund. Prices won't come back down. The people will get screwed yet again.

Is that what it is? I think we've reached a level of stupid beyond my comprehension.
