yeah, sure. instead of fixing their shit, adobe opts to instead completely axe support for one of the most widely used and influential softwares on the internet. thank god i’ve never paid for it, but it’s a shame to see it’ll never improve, since it’s the only one i know how to use.

she's rethinking all of her prior opinions about being alive

they didn’t even give her a chance like they did with chrysalis they were just immediately like “go to hell”

somewhere outside of expectations. you see this herbivorous domestic mammal, its familiar and kind, but its also half of this carnivorous, shifty, scaly creature. i feel like that combination fairly well encapsulates the variety of ways im viewed as a result of being a disordered nonbinary person.

a reptile hybrid, i ended up identifying with reptiles a lot more as i entered adulthood. i cant point to one single reason why, part of it is me being shapeshifter-kin, and reptiles being capable of changing their appearance dramatically. part of it is that, as a nonbinary person, i like to be

is just so fucking strange, and they look sort of uncomfortable no matter what. i relate to this quite a bit from the perspective of being fat in a world designed for thin people. i end up looking/feeling a bit uncomfortable and out of place no matter what.

as for why i decided to make my fursona

their fear. as a traumatized person whose disordered behavior is often viewed as making me "difficult" i really relate to this.

another reason is a little silly, but i think equines in general tend to look ridiculously out of place in almost any context. something about the shape of their bodies

for one, mules are often characterized as being very stubborn, when in reality they are cautious. they dont trust their handler in the way a horse does. a horse might trust a handler's guidance if theyre being encouraged to go somewhere they're hesitant about, and a mule is less inclined to ignore

i had a dream a long while ago about a cartoon about a donkey and pig who lived on a farm, and i ended up realizing a really love drawing donkeys when i drew them. drew a mule fursona for fun and it instantly clicked with me for some reason. i have a lot of reasons for sticking with it though (cont)

seeing this in the direct made me so fucking happy. not just changing the binary to being "style" instead, fully allowing a third nonbinary option. explicitly allowing people to be nonbinary. USING THE WORD NONBINARY. being allowed to select multiple or none of the options. im giddy about it.
