Launched in 2020, the project asked:

Can and should European competition law tackle the challenges posed by Modern Bigness—the composite power of big technology companies—in market and non-market domains?

This Special Issue brings together a rich selection of articles inspired by the interdisciplinary conference held at Utrecht University on 4–5 April 2024, and marks a significant milestone in the ERC Starting Grant project Modern Bigness, led by Prof. Anna Gerbrandy.
