transformed the VeeFriends Issue #4 credits page into an #augmentedreality experience. I converted the layout into an image anchor, deconstructed the layout in PSD, prepped the effects in After Effects & brought it all to life in Adobe Aero.

Purchased the Make Big Films Worlds 3 pack and testing some of the assets in augmented reality. Need to tweak some assets so that they properly anchor. all in all, the images look great! Going to build out a whole scene at scale.

I set up a “The Future Is ****” digital AR takeover at Third Eye Comics in Annapolis, MA to celebrate an in-store signing. Issue #1 hits local comic shops next week — May 28!

The AR experience was built in Aero using its geospatial feature.

I still haven’t given up on bringing #AR to comics. This was a piece I built a while back. Deconstructed and layered the cover in Photoshop. Added extra lighting layers for Livewire. Finally brought the piece into After Effects for the special effects and animation.

I thought it would be cool to build this AR experience for the REKCAH Publishing banner being used at ComicsPro. If I had time I would have placed this on the side of the convention building at 30 feet tall.

Super quick AR piece I built for a beer release. Took a screenshot of the label. Deconstructed it in Photoshop. Imported the layered PSD into After Effects. Added some basic animations, exported as a PNG sequence and brought it into Adobe Aero. Took maybe 30 minutes?

Experimenting in the lab for a possible cover treatment for the Last Spartan. Inked artwork by Leonardo Manco on the iPad to simplify the piece. I then laser etched the leather sheet on my diode laser. Tinker to come up with new ideas and veer off the normal path. #comicbooks #comics
